Tom is responsible for managing Pelion’s client portfolios and client relationships. Along with the other firm leadership, Tom conducts investment product due diligence and oversees Pelion’s operations. Tom was previously a founding partner and Chief Investment Officer at Lenox Advisors in New York City. He is also a nationally recognized expert regarding the design and implementation of private placement variable annuities (PPVA) and private placement life insurance (PPLI) as part of a family’s overall tax-efficient investment portfolio. He additionally coordinates with investment managers to help them build an insurance dedicated fund (IDF) and promote their IDF to investors.
Tom also serves as Senior Managing Director of First Liberties Financial. He graduated with degrees in Economics and American History from the University of Pennsylvania where he started an a cappella group and competed on the varsity swimming team.

Hilary has over 35 years of diverse financial industry experience. Prior to founding Pelion Financial Group, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Pali Capital. Hilary introduced and created a number of revenue generating business lines at Pali and was responsible for the firm’s trading technology and human resources. Prior to working at Pali, Hilary was a senior executive at Fimat USA, the futures brokerage unit of Societe Generale. As a member of the COMEX and NYMEX exchanges, he oversaw a 100-person floor brokerage operation.
Hilary also serves as President of First Liberties Financial.. He holds a B.A. from the University of Alabama.

Prior to joining PFG, Bob was appointed by the REFCO Creditors Committee as liquidating CEO and CFO of various regulated non-debtor REFCO entities. Prior to this, Bob was the Chief Investment Officer of National Investment Managers, Inc., a publicly traded company providing pension and pension administration services. Bob was also Executive Vice President at American Benefit Resources, Inc. Bob spent 25 years at Lehman Brothers, Inc. where he served on Lehman’s executive committee and was Managing Director of Short-Term Capital Markets and a Managing Director of Investment Banking.
Bob also serves as Chief Operating Officer of First Liberties Financial. He received a B.S. in Economics from Queens College.
